Admittedly, even we cannot overcome gravity. But we can appear to in the most elegant way imaginable: for instance, by enclosing a cubex cabinet with a light frame made of fine walnut – and so make it seem to float. As the shades of our wood and lacquer colours match each other perfectly, they then attest to another, second law of nature: beauty attracts.
